Round 4 Previews (Gala Round-Shepparton)

Under 13 Boys
Round 4 Preview

Another Gala Round and another chance to develop the team further. We have conceded many goals thus far, so Thursday’s training will be about improving our defensive ability.
It is always interesting to have a hit out against Country teams and I expect both Loddon (from Bendigo) and Southern Cross (from Ballarat) to come out...
firing and fancy themselves as being competitive against us. No team is treated lightly in the VCL and anyone can win. Our focus will be to stay compact in central areas when defending and once we win the ball to spread out, keep possession switch play and work up to a shot on goal.

Cheers,

Atila

Gala Weekend Shepparton

The challenge will be put out to the 13G this weekend, to improve from where we left off the last week.

We must continue to improve and be able to concentrate for the full 50 minutes.

We as a group have covered a lot of areas to date and we must start to put all these together and be able to execute this over the full 50 minutes.

I am confident the girls can perform at there best when needed.

Concentration, patience, determination and commitment are all the ingredients to succeed.

Looking forward to some great football over the weekend and hopefully we can walk away from it with success and improvement.

This weekend the u15 girls play loddon and southern cross in the shepp gala. We hope for continued improvement including playing out from the back more securely and maintaining the width in attack. Good luck

Under 15 Boys

Gala weekends in Shepparton , has two outer metro zones playing the U15 boys. Training will consist of attacking, passing ,positioning and awareness of when to transition. The U15 boys are looking forward to the weekend after just going down by 1 goal at the end of the match against Diamonds. Sprits are high and focus is on playing good football in front of their home crowd.

Cheers JC Giuca

Under 17 Girls

We expect a very hard game against a well organised team in Loddon. We look forward to improve on what we have been working on and our main objectives this weekend will be playing out of the back and BP and BPO. With Lara Seeger and Antoinette Morrison away this will put pressure on the girls but confident they have what it takes to succeed.

Thanks

Tony Cigana
