Round 22

Can Keon Park FC continue from where they left last season.

It was round 22 and Keon Park FC was playing a team that beat them easily 5 - 0 in the first round. But this time around Keon Park FC came out firing on all cylinders. The visitors (North City Lions) were suprised as Keon Park took the lead with veteran GT in the first half. However the ball found the scorers arm in his penalty area and a penalty meant that the visitors had equalised at 1 - 1.

The second half though unleashed a strength that all teams would fear. Five goals from Keon Park FC gave them the win they so muched longed for. It was a hatrick for the Veteran GT but the highlight was not that alone but also the courage and strength that this team showed to come out and win emphatically. Round after round Keon Park Fc had come out and tasted the bitter taste of defeat week in week out. a referee once said to the Keon Park players that they are the heroes of the League as constant defeat would make lots of players not turn up, but they kept battling and finally got that vital win to make it worth while.
