> Richard Randall assisted the under 16s of Cardinia United JSC with getting a pre-season game together for them in early March 2011

> Mark Dunn approached Richard Randall after pre-season game against Cardinia United JSC under 16s, about helping start a senior soccer club by being the president of it, in early March 2011

>Richard Randall came back early April 2011 with his answer (Yes) and brought with him, his mother Marie Mill as the senior clubs treasurerer

>Steering committee was formed mid-late April 2011 with the minimum number of 5 members

>Plan of action and getting some notice of the new club was made mid-late April 2011

>Mission statement was made and presented to steering committee late April 2011

>Name was decided and incorporated (Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club) in early May 2011

>Personally made constitution was created and presented to steering committee in June 2011

>Date for Interest meeting and booking was made at (Pakenham Library conference room) to show case what we were looking to offer in a club format to the public, was decided by the steering committee June 2011

>Flyers, e-mails, getting out and speaking to people in the region and surrounding regions about the interest meeting and what we were looking to offer in a club format from June-October 2011

>interest Meeting was held by Richard Randall, Marie-Josee Mill, and Aaron Vaughan in mid October 2011

>No one turned up to interest meeting in mid October 2011

>Steering comittee made extra effort in getting awareness of the Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club by getting out to local games of soccer and also speaking to players in the Pakenham futsal competition from October 2011-February 2012

>Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club Wrote a letter of a need for Henry Rd Facility to be built to continue the growth of soccer in the region, and to add some help with the already great Work Cardinia United Junior Soccer Club have done in 2011 with their African Refugee Program that impressed local and Federal Government, in Early November 2011

>Steering committee held a pre-registration day in November 2011

>Pre-registration day had no seniors turn up

>Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club and Cardinia United Junior Soccer Club Representatives at the media release for the full Federal Government sport and recreation fund of $650,000 to the Henry Rd Facility, in November 2011

>Cardinia United Junior Soccer Club Representative spoke with, Cardinia Shire Council, CEO, Garry McQuillan on the needs of Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club for a tempory home venue, until Henry Rd Facility is built. This happened at the media release for Henry Rd Facility in November 2011

 

>Mark Dunn (Cardinia United Junior Soccer Club President) Heard back from the Cardinia Shire Council, sport and recreation officer (Ben Fenton) about the finding of (Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club) alternative home ground and gave Ben Fenton the number of Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club President for contact, in Late November

 

>Cardinia United Senior Soccer Club and Cardinia United Junior Soccer Club Representatives at the local Lakeside festival, where they did a clinic for any children who came. And also had a chat with local Jason McLachlan owner/trainer of Step Into Life Pakenham about sponsorship of the Cardinia United Senior Soccer CLub in December 2011
