I would like to also wish all the teams going into finals all the very best and remember to represent our club with a real sense of pride and sportsmanship. I am not just talking about the on field teams but pride in the manner and sportsmanship in which our players, coaches and supporters conduct themselves.
So it is fitting that at the end of the season that we acknowledge the efforts of players, coaches and parents and give a well deserved thank you!
The commencement of the new season will begin at the start of October, the first week the kids go back to school. Could you please let your team managers know if you are not intending to come back next season, so that team can be finalised. If you do not let your team managers know then we will assume you are coming back.
I also would like to thank our main sponsor Plum Heating and Cooling without their significant sponsorship contribution the Flames Basketball club would not be financial. We look forward to continuing this relationship over the next 12 months.
Good luck to all teams going to compete in finals!
During the season coaches are instructed to ensure all players get fair and even game time. During finals however we play to win so player game time may not be equal and this is at the discretion of the coach. Play hard and play fair!
There are still quite a few people still owing fees, this is now way overdue and payment needs to be made asap or else your child will not be able to continue to play and will not have a place in thier current team for next season.
Payment can be made to the Commonwealth Bank (by EFT or in bank); Account name: Flames Basketball Club, BSB: 063622, Account No.: 10347799 (Please include a description of your child/ren's surname)
As you are all well aware we have organised new training singlets for next season, this is a compulsory uniform requirement, if you child has not been measured up for one you will need to make contact with Diane on 0400 587 609. The cost is $30.00 and this needs to be paid on measurement.
