Penrith Rams stars David Bradley and Dale Chivas capped off a sensational year when they became joint winners of the prestigious Sydney AFL Sanders Medal for the Best & Fairest announced last last at the gala function at Doltone House. Despite missing eight games between them during the season, the judges could not seperate the pair taken on a 3-2-1 vote by umpires during the season.
Earlier in the evening, Jason Bradley was also recognised as the leading Div 4 goalkicker. For David Bradley, it was his second Association medal after he won the Under 18's Hart Medal in 2000. The Penrith captains paid a tribute to the club and their fellow players in their speeches.
Reserve Grade players Mark Jackson and Nathan Rowley polled well in the Armstrong Medal whilst Jack Ponton was Penrith's best in the 18's Hart Medal.
