Welcome to the eleventh edition of Ramstats, covering the weird, wonderful and sometimes wacky world of the statistics and history of the Penrith Rams AFC.
This edition covers games played on 21st/22nd June:
1. Ramettes (Ladies Div 2) v UTS - Rd 10
2. Under 19s (Div 2) v Moorebank - Rd 10
3. Reserve Grade (Div 3) v Pennant Hills - Rd 11
4. Seniors (Div 1) v Pennant Hills - Rd 10
5. Third Grade (Div 5) v UNSW/ES - Rd 11
NB (1): Age Grade refers to combined Under 18/19/20 matches.
NB (2): Quarter by quarter and goalkicking records only exist from 1990 onwards.
NB (3): History v Club records can vary markedly in nature due to the fact that, since 2009, many clubs do not play each other on the same level.

* Kevin's 9 goals now takes him to 71 career goals in 3rd Grade, another new record. He overtakes John Murray - who held the record to date with 68 career 3rd Grade goals.
SCORING & MARGINS
SCORING
* Senior Grade's score of 5.9 (39) was the 17th 39 point score in the history of the club (8 by 5.9, 9 by 6.3). The Rams have only ever won once with this score - that honour going to Reserve Grade, who defeated Randwick Saints by 11 points at Monarch Oval in 2010. Senior Grade's 26 point loss is the 5th lowest with a 39 point score. The 39 point score made its first appearance in Rams history in 1983, by Senior Grade against Parramatta at Hyland Road Park and most recently - before this round - by the Under 18s, also against Parramatta, at Gipps Road in 2013.
* Reserve Grade's score of 15.8 (98) was the 7th score of 98 points (1 by 12,26, 1 by 13.20, 3 by 14.14, 2 by 15.8) the Rams have kicked. The score was first scored by Senior Grade against Liverpool at Greygums Oval in 1987. The 98 point score has never lost for the club. On the occasion the Rams kicked 12.26 (by Reserve Grade in 2012 at Greygums), they kept their opponents (Nor-West Jets) scoreless - this was the most recent occasion (before this round) that the club had kicked the score.
* Third Grade's score of 18.10 (118) was the 5th instance of this score in the history of the club (2 by 17,16, 3 by 18.10). The score has never lost for the Rams - and surprisingly, Third Grade's margin of 110 points is not the biggest with a 118 point score (the Under 18s defeated Parramatta by 117 points at Greygums in 2010). The 118 point score first appeared in 1988 - when Senior Grade defeated Baulkham Hills at McLaughlin Reserve. The most recent occasion before this round was by the Under 18s as mentioned above.
* The Under 18's score of 5.3 (33) is the 11th 33 point score in the history of the club (4 by 4.9, 7 by 5.3) and the second this season (the Ramettes kicking the score against Southern Power at Greygums on 10th May). The Rams have never won with this score - the Ramettes game earlier this season being the closest the club has come to a win (32 points). Despite the size of the loss (101 points) on this occasion, this is actually the fourth highest loss the Rams have suffered with a 33 point score. The score was first kicked in 1983 by Seniior Grade against Manly -Warringah at Sales Park.
* The Ramettes kicked the 17th score of 22 points for the club (2 by 2.10, 15 by 3.4) - and achieved ed the club's first ever win with that score (see "General" below for further info). Previously the nearest 22 points had come to a win for Penrith was a 7 point loss, again by the Ramettes (in the opening Round of 2013 against Southern Power - the most recent occurrence of the score before this round). At the other end of the scale, Senior Grade suffered a 257 point loss against St Ives in 1985 with a 22 point score - mind you, the Rams are still here and firing - as for St Ives? :) The score first appeared for Penrith in 1982, by the Under 20s, again against St Ives at McGrath's Hill.
WINNING MARGINS
* Reserve Grade's 39 point win was the 7th by the club (3 by Senior Grade, 3 by Reserve Grade, 1 by Ramettes) and the second this season - Reserve Grade defeated Western Suburbs by that margin on 24th May. The margin first occurred in 1987, when Senior Grade defeated Baulkham Hills at Kellyville Country Club. Reserve Grade's 15.8 (98) in this round is the second highest score the Rams have kicked to record a 39 point win - the highest being 16.11 (107), by Senior Grade in the aforementioned 1987 match against Baulkham Hills.
* Third Grade's 110 point win was only the 3rd win by that margin in the club's history.(1 by Senior Grade, 1 by Age Grade, 1 by Third Grade). The only other times it occured were in 1991, when Senior Grade defeated Bargo at Greygums Stadium and in 2010, when the rampant Under 18s defeated Moorebank, also at fortress Greygums. Third Grade's score of 18.10 (118) is the lowest of the three scores kicked by Penrith to record a 110 point win.
* The Ramettes recorded the club's 9th 2 point win (2 by Senior Grade, 2 by Reserve Grade, 2 by Third Grade, 2 by Age Grade and 1 by Ramettes). 22 points is the lowest score to record a 2 point win (in fact, it is the lowest score to ever record a win for the Rams - see "General"), the previous lowest score being Third Grade's 5.7 (37) against Randwick Saints at Greygums in 2012. Penrith first won a game by 2 points in 1996, when the Under 18s defeated Balmain at Jubilee Oval. Most recently, before this round, the Rams won by 2 points when Reserve Grade defeated Western Suburbs at Greygums Oval in 2013.
VENUES
* Five games at Greygums - for three wins and two losses - took Penrith's record there to 223 wins, 259 losses, 2 draws and 9 abandoned - a total of 493 games. In addition, the Rams have won a further 34 games scheduled at Greygums by forfeit. Following on from Senior, Reserve and Third and Age Grade's highest score at Greygums, the Ramettes' highest score at the fortress is 10.17 (77) in Round 6 this season against UNSW/ES.

UNDER 19 GRADE
* Under 19 Grade played Moorebank for the second time this season - for one win apiece.
* The overall record between the two clubs now stands at Penrith 10 wins, Moorebank 5 wins.
RAMETTES
* The Ramettes played UTS for the second time this season, for their second win.
* The record between the two clubs now stands at Ramettes 5, UTS 3.
* Five wins is the most the Ramettes have recorded against any club.
* This is the Ramettes' third win in a row against UTS - their new longest winning sequence against that club.
* 2 points is the Ramettes' narrowest win against UTS - but not their narrowest win ever. That honour belongs to their memorable 1 point win against Southern Power in 2013 at Greygums.
GENERAL
* Congratulations to the trend setting Penrith Ramettes, who in this round kicked the lowest ever score by any Rams side to win a game - 3.4 (22). This eclipsed their own record of 3.6 (24), in their thrilling win in last year's First Semi-Final (again against UTS).
The lowest score by a male side to win a game for the Rams is Reserve Grade's 4.5 (29) against Wollongong at North Dalton Park in 1999.
* This was the sixth time the Rams have played 5 games at home over two days (this includes the round on 17th/18th May this year when the Macarthur Giants forfeited their Under 19 game and a scratch match was played). The figure should be seven times - this year the Rams played five games at Kelso Park on the 12th/13th April, games which were transferred from Greygums.
* The Rams passed 94000 points in all competition football in this round.
