A big afternoon at Weyba Rd for the Sandcastles/Noosa Today Award as well as the Seniors and Reserves best and fairest count.
First cab off the rank was the Sandcastles / Noosa Today Award with 3 nights at Sandcastles Hastings Street, 2 x $100 meal vouchers for Roccoco restaurant and 2 breakfast vouchers and a $100 drinks voucher for the Noosa Heads Surf Club up for grabs. This was taken out by Nick Hill (35) from Robert Copeland (29), Zach McDonald (24), Shane Davis (23) and Gary Wallace (15).
Sammy Krushka took the micraphone to announce the Reserves Best and Fairest votes and in a run away result AFLQ Noel Wallis Medalist, Nathan Winter, on 124, blitzed the field. Other in the top ten votes were Jack Tickner (58), Jake Fulton (55), Matt Gray (47), Matt Deans (37), Zac Smith (37), Seb Clift (33), Mitch Danahay (29), Mark Reilly (26) and CJ Rutherford (25).
The Gel hande the microphone to the ever voluble Damien Reichman for the Seniors Best and Fairest. Following on from his win in the Sandcastles award Nick Hill took out the Seniors Best + Fairest with 117 votes. Others in the top 10 vote gatherers were Robert Copeland (82), Cain Tickner (56), Shane Davis (51), Gary Wallace (50), Zach McDonald (33), Cubby Isles (33), Jed Brain (30) and Mark Reilly (22).
Don't forget presentation night is at the Weyba Rd clubrooms on September 26th when we will find out who the other tropy winners are.
