Miniball Competition Rules
K&MDBA MINIBALL COMPETITION RULES – UNDER 8
1. New players must complete the “Players Registration” form on the back of the score sheet and fill in mauve form.
2. Size 5 ball.
3. Timing: 2 x 17 minute halves.
4. Three (3) players to commence match.
5. No jump balls after commencement of first half. Alternate side balls.
6. Substitution on any side ball.
7. One time out per team per half.
8. Cross-court not technical but applicable.
9. Two (2) referees per court.
10. Players must stand a little back from sideline whilst opposition throws ball in.
11. Bonus shots after the teams’ 8th foul does not apply in miniball.
12. Uniforms as per club and t-shirts worn underneath must be same colour as uniform. No loss of points if team member is unable to be in correct uniform.
13. First aid is team’s responsibility.
14. All teams must have a competent scorer.
15. Special rules apply for extremely hot weather.
16. Team Managers please make sure that scoresheet is filled out before the game is scheduled to start.
17. No finals – at the end of the season Presentation Day is held for all players.
