Two members of the 2009 Tyntynder Colts premiership team have big years ahead of them as they move to the next level within the game.
Josh Free and Leigh Masters will this weekend take their places with Port Melbourne (VFL) and Bendigo Pioneers (TAC Cup) respectively.
Masters was outstanding for the Pioneers in their opening game played at Dandenong against Geelong Falcons two weeks ago.
Masters had over 20 effective touches and was clearly one of the shining lights in what proved to be a dismal performance from the Pioneers going down by close on 100 points.
Free has been selected on the bench in Port Melbourne opening game against the AFL/VFL new team the Gold Coast.
What an introduction for Josh, getting the opportunity of travelling to Southport on the Gold Coast for their inaugural game within the competition.
Free has been extremely prominent in all practice matches leading up to the opening round to earn his place in the team.
The Tyntynder Football Netball Club players, members and supporters wish both boys all the best in season 2010.
Open file to see some action shots of Leigh Masters with the Bendigo Pioneers.
