The Tyntynder Vs Cohuna game Saturday August 7th will feature the inaugural Beyondblue Cup honouring Leon Hipwell, former member of both Tyntynder and Cohuna Football clubs.
Information will be handed out at the gate, the club's notice board will feature information on mental health issues, Colts players from both teams will wear blue arm bands to raise awarness, and the "Cup" will be presented to the winning Senior team captain at the end of the game. The Leon Hipwell Cup match will be played annually between Tyntynder and Cohuna, next years game will be at Cohuna
Sporting clubs are often the heart of many rural communities. Build Your Game (BYG) is funded by Beyond Blue, the national depression initiative which works to raise awareness of depression, anxiety and alcohol and drug problems. BYG is a program of the Australian Drug Foundation, and it's local community partner is Northern District Health Service.
