and controlled enough of the play to win the game, but unfortunately they couldnt find the big sticks. Ten behinds straight was almost enough, but the Raiders goaled on the siren to send the match into extra time. The young Dogs eventually went down by the narrowest of margins. In a great team effort there were many notable performances. Jesse Alty was the standout performer but received great support from Bailey Fry, Lachy Carroll, Beau Dunstone, Tom Sala and Jack Woodward. It was an agonising manner in which to bow out, but the next season is only six months away and the young Dogs will bounce back bigger and better.
Thanks to our runner on the day Brad Carroll, and to the parents and friends that came along to support the boys.
A special thanks to Cookie and Hick for their efforts during the year. All involved with the Under 13's wish "Bibbs", 'Boof" Margy, and the boys all the best in the under 15 peliminary final this weekend.
