The inaugural TFNC "Monster Expo and Market Fair" was held on Friday and Saturday November 12th and 13th in what has been described as "typical Mallee weather" - hot and blustery one day, cold and wet the next.
Expo organisers report a steady stream of visitors through the gates, especially on Saturday morning and planning is underway for 2011 - bigger, better and hopefully with better weather!
Free tea and coffee was offered to visitors as part of entry fee and as one local put it "a good cuppa goes a long way to making bad weather more acceptable!"
Thanks to Wayne, Geoff and team for the incredible amount of time put into organising the expo.
Thanks to the "Grain Shed", Swan Hill Traders , site and stall holders and especially to our major sponsors "Swan Hill Camper and Caravan Hire","Blue Skye", "Sammon Electrical", "Ian Ray Electrics Retra Vision" and 'Coles".
Winner of the "Coles Grocery Grab Raffle" was Richard A Heritage - well done Richard. Keep an eye out for local medica coverage of Richard in his endeavour to get as many groceries as he can into that trolley in 90 seconds!
