Well our day out against our old rivals Swan Hill proved quite a positive one on Saturday. With 6 from 7 wins it was a good day out with some great netball being played.
The day started with a win from our U13 Reserve girls who are having a great season and are improving each week. Chelsea Mazzarella and Georgia Bibby received the awards.
40 - 28 was the score in the U13. The girls were a bit sluggish to start but came good to post a 12 goal win. Well done.
The U15's continued on their winning way with a 45 to 35 win. Nice shooting from Kate Morrison. Best of luck this Sunday in Melbourne to Tess Denham, Nikita Devereux and Kate Morrison who will represent Central Murray in the State Championships at the State Netball Centre. Also to Maddi Jeans, Tayla Stanley and Matika Howard who will be U17 representatives. Great effort for Tyntynder to have 6 reps in two grades. Special mention to Roey Bice who is coaching the U15 side for the second year running. Best of luck everyone.
U17's recorded a strong win, 56 - 28 with our defence end spoiling Swan Hill's attack continuously. Awards to Maddy Ingram and Jacky Rivett.
What a game the B Reserve girls had coming away with a 1 goal win. It was close all day but the girls played a great team effort to win 38 - 37. That's what happens when you go away for the weekend Pete!
In a hard fought game the B Grade went down by 10 with really only their second quarter letting them down. Bad luck girls.
In a replay of last year's grand final the game started hard and fast and was fought out to the end as is always the case when we play the Swans. With some great contests all over the court our girls finished strongly to record a 6 goal win. Great job!
This week we host Lake Boga in what I'm sure will be more great netball.
Go doggies!
