The trip to Kerang last Saturday was an eventful one. Seemed to be lots of skin getting taped up and a couple of nasty injuries. 'Hope we don't continue that this week. Yvonne and Krystal we hope you are both feeling better.
Improving each week are the 13 Reserve kids and they posted another good win 22 to 7. Zoe Spence - Benfield playing well. 13 A Girls had a big win 50 - 19 and are really showing some good form at the minute. Well done girls. Suffering their first loss of the season the U15's had a close one all game but Kerang drew away in the last quarter to win by 6. Bad luck girls but I don't think the loss will hurt.
In what was supposed to be a close encounter the U17's proved too strong and posted a 64 - 24 goal win. A good first and third quarter set this up but we need to remember to play 4 quarters girls.
B Reserve cruised to a 32 goal win after losing Yvonne in the third quarter with a knee injury. Thanks to Jessi Templeton for filling in and well done to her and Bree for goaling nicely all day.
B Grade were also injury prone with Krystal ending up with concussion after a nasty fall but they managed to push on and win 34 - 21 and are sitting on third spot on the ladder, well done girls.
After a loss last week the A Grade put together a good consistant game defeating Kerang 64 - 21. Defenders consistant as they have been all year and the forward line combined well.
Lets hope this week there are no more injuries and we come home with 7 wins.
Go Doggies!!!
