year of the Central Murray Football League. Trevor Ryan, as we all know is continuing as Senior coach, and (an) announcement players and supporters greeted with delight some months ago. Other appointments are Stephen Bridgland as Reserves coach and Peter "Jumbo" Hawkins in the thirds who will certainly have plenty to say to his squad, as his past and present team mates should be aware. Best of luck to all of these guys throughout the year, and lets hope we can hang three flags in the clubrooms in September. In the juniors the club has been lucky enough to secure three great coaches in Peter (do you want to buy a house?) Amezdroz in the under 15's, John Weekly in the Under 13s and David Bergin has taken on the role in the Under 11's. A lot of hard work has gone into getting the players onto the ground today (some have been harder to get there than others) in all grades, and the club takes this opportunity to welcome all the new players and supporters to both the Senior and Junior body.
The recruiting committee has done a tireless job in recruiting Andrew Ryan as assistant coach, Tony Keene (Keane) from Wycheproof, David Bergin from Mildura, Shane Palmer from lots of places, Marcus Nalder form the rice fields, the third wise monkey Tim Styles, Greg Pearson (with a little luck), and past Premiership coach Kevin Storer returns to the club. Graham McErvale and Steve Manley are also welcome additions to our very capable committee. Russell Coburn has taken on Presidency once again and Geoff Hinton will continue as Secretary. On the netball scene Sharon Denham is in control of al the Senior teams at present, Roey Bice is coaching the thirds, Amie Lowe is coach of the fourths, while Melinda Scott and Emma McLennan will share the duties in the under 13s. There are still positions available to anyone looking for a game. Anyone interested should come along to training or contact Sharon.
Keep Barkin' The Scribe.
