Players of the IFWFC were left devastated on Sunday night when they realised the kitchen at the club rooms had closed before the end of their game.
None more so than Campbell who apparently had a look of horror sweep over her face. Others were sure she was going to tear up.
Not happy to just sit there and let this destroy her night, Campbell organised pizzas to be delivered to the club rooms. After waiting for an hour and a half we think it's fair to say that she started to get a little cranky. A new word Campbell learnt this week probably best describes her mood:
Hangry:
/'han-gree/ adj.
Anger fuelled by hunger.
A cranky state resulting from lack of food, especially sweet things
Food is obviously of high importance to the Campbell family, with cousin Sareena commenting on the following post on the team's Facebook page last week.
Assistant Coach Kazza:
'Make sure you train this week girls if you wish to be considered for Sundays game. Many to choose from. Some will be dropped!'
Sareena's response (and nothing to do with the initial post may we add):
'Will there be food after training this week?'
When told there wouldn't be, she simply replied 'Damn.'
Stiffy took it upon herself to talk with the Club President who assured us the kitchen will remain open on Sunday nights from now on.
On ya Stiffy!!!
