Goals for Grassroots

Wauchope Soccer Club has won $6000 courtesy of Hyundai who is sponsoring the A-League and the fantastic Goals for Grassroots funding initiative. This involved earning $1000 for every goal scored by Newcastle Jets at a nominated game, plus a bonus $1000.

The club was also given 20 tickets which we gave out to the first players registered. They went along to the match and cheered Newcastle on to an amazing 5-0 victory.
