VCL Final Standings

The final batch of technical and respect points have been added to the seven Victorian Champions League tables, giving us our league winners for the 2011/12 season.

Up to 20 technical and 10 respect points were awarded to each team, and for some this was enough to see them overtake teams with more wins on the board to claim the championship.

As a competition with a slant towards developing players rather than winning at all costs, it is fitting that in some cases teams with fewer competition points who applied the Football Federation Australia National Coaching Curriculum and showed the utmost respect for the referees and their opponents have won championships.

2011/12 VCL Winners

Under 13 Girls: North East Diamonds
Under 14 Boys: Western Wolves
Under 15 Girls: South East Cougars
Under 15 Boys: North East Diamonds
Under 17 Girls: Loddon Mallee Lightning
Under 17 Boys: Wimmera South Coast Eagles

FFV would like to extend its congratulations to the seven winning teams as well as everyone involved in the VCL from players, coaches, parents and volunteers.
