Shepparton Gala Weekend coming up
On 10-11 December, the Greater Shepparton City Council will host the second Gala Weekend of the 2011/12 Victorian Champions League (VCL) season.
Eastern FC, North East Diamonds, Rivers FC, Southern Bluetongues, South East Cougars, and Wimmera South Coast Eagles will be the six zones that will be competing in 42 matches over two days of non-stop football action.
The gala weekend gives players an opportunity to see parts of the state they may not have been to before as well as giving them the experience of travelling with a team just like the pros!
It is thanks to the Greater Shepparton City Council that this has been made possible.
While over 500 players, parents and team officials will converge on this community to play football, that is by no means a limit of what there is to do in Shepparton with many family friendly activities and exciting tourist destinations to check out while there.
