It is with great sadness that we announce our Senior Men's captain Adam Nadin will leave the club after this weekend.
Fittingly the man affectionately known as "Nads" wil play his last game in the #M79Derby against Kyneton, a club he played for between 2008-10.
"Nads" started as a junior with Gisborne in 1999 and worked his way up through the age groups. Considered as a genuine talent at an early age he was called into the U18's side at age 15, earning B&F votes in his first appearance. After 104 games as a junior he made the move to Kyneton where he played 3 seasons before returning home 2011 when the senior side was established.
Respected by his peers he was voted in as our inaugural senior captain, a position he held until the end of 2013 and again in 2015. In the first senior season he lead the team to the win the league, a dream start for the club.
Personal accolades have also come along the way as he was awarded the Best & Fairest in 2011 and again in 2012; and finishing third in 2013 and fifth in 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank "Nads" for the wonderful contribution he has made in building our club, and we wish him well with the next phase of his life.
