Lighting Project
Gisborne Soccer Club is pleased to announce the first step of an extensive lighting project has been completed.
Stage 1 has involved the repositioning of a number of lights on existing light towers which has now enabled the club to use a 3rd pitch at night for training.
The benefits will be particularly noticeable on a Thursday night when majority of the teams in the club jostle for positions on the training areas; as well as further benefits to game-day surfaces which will now have less training traffic on it.
Stage 2 will involve the relocation of a tower currently not in use as well as the erection of an additional tower to further enhance the lighting on the 2 training pitches to the east of the club house. This stage is likely to coincide with the construction of the new change rooms at season end.
