2019 Senior Men
Gisborne Soccer Club is pleased to officially announce that Danny Ciantar has been appointed to coach the Senior Men’s team in State 4 for Season 2019.
His appointment is well deserved after guiding the Senior team to promotion last season. The influence Danny had on the senior group last season made the decision to extend his tenure an easy one.
We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Hrvoja Barun to coach the Reserves team and assist Danny with the senior team for Season 2019. Hrvoja will also be working with some of our junior coaches assisting them with their development and helping to develop the junior boys . Barun's credentials in the last couple of years include coaching the under 18's at Altona Magic in 2017, Under 15's & under 16's in 2014 - 2016 at Keilor Park.
Gisborne Soccer Club would like to sincerely thank Jack Cubley for his contribution in coaching the Reserves in 2018, earning a top 4 finish. Cubley took on the role as injury forced him to miss the season. We look forward to Jack returning to the playing roster for 2019 and beyond.
Our Senior Men's pre-season training starts on the 1st November, 7:00pm at Dixon Field, it will be held every Thursday night until Christmas. We extend an invitation to attend to all who wish to be part of our 2019 campaign.
