Barry has been involved with WPL since 2008 as a parent, assistant coach and coach. He has had two daughters play in premier league structure. He has previously been assistant coach and coach of WPL 16/17 at Belwest, Coach of Weston-Molonglo WPL 19 in 2013, Assistant Coach Weston-Molonglo 19 in 2014, and this year was assistant coach of WPL 17 in WWFC's first year. Has has provided goalkeeper coaching at as well. Prior to moving to Canberra, Barry coached Cooma U13-15 girls for a few years.

In 2015, Barry took a combined Weston Woden Premier League Side away to Alstonville for the Oceania Cup, where the girls finished fourth. He is looking forward to coaching WWFC's WPL 18 this year and progressing from where we started in 2015. He hopes to complete his C licence in 2016.
