Club Captain Tyrone Armitage has been a star for the Giants for a number of years as a Division One player but has taken his game to a new level in Premier Division in 2013. As Captain in 2012, Ty led the Division One side to an undefeated premiership (whilst finishing runner up B&F and Top 10 in the Snow Medal). Ty, who was Manly's young guns has become a young veteran with experience in Sydney Representitive Footy, Swans Reserves in 2009 and trained with Geelong in early 2010. Ty is a local playeeer hailing from the Forest Lions Junior Club.
In 2013 Tyrone Captained the team to the Premiership on the Club's promotion and also won the Phelan Medal for best and fairest player in the Premiership Competion for the season.
Tyrone has a number of awards across his budding career in Sydney winning Wolves under 18's B&F, Competition B&F and Competition leading goal kicker in 2007, the 1st grade B&F and Snow Medal in 2009 and runner up B&F in 2012. Ty celebrated his 100th game as a Wolf in 2012 in style...finishing up with 1 goal 5 behinds on the day. Tyrone is a mmeber of the Sydney Representative team in 2014.
Look out for Ty on game day for his sheer brilliance and also some hot punting tips, usually arriving with a couple of ripper multi's in his pocket
