Round 12 - July 4-5

Five games of footy over two days at three venues is on the menu for Round 12. On Saturday, it's third grade V Camden at Harrington Park, Ramettes at Greygums followed by reserves at 1 PM both against Gosford. On Sunday it's off to Picken Oval where the 19's play at 12:00 PM followed by first grade at 2:10 PM. both against Wests. Interim eam selection on next page as they become available.more

Round 11 - June 27

Just four teams facing the starter this week with the Ramettes having a well deserved bye. Firts Grade travel to Gore Hill to take on North Shore at 12:30, whilst at home, Thirds play Parramatta at 10, the 19's face Campbelltown at 12 and Reserves play Pennant Hills at 2:10. Round 10 - June 19/20/21

A weekend of changes on days, venues and times. Under 19's kick off the weekend when they play Moorebank at BISP #2 on Friday night at 7:15 AM. On Saturday, First Grade have been moved from Spotless Stadium to Greygums where they play Moorebank at 12:30 PM. Third Grade play at Gipps Rd also on Saturday at 8:30 AM whilst on Sunday, the Ramettes face Moorebank at midday and reserves play Uni NSWmore

Round 9 - Saturday June 13

It's back to normality this Saturday as we hit the half way of the BLK Sydney AFL Competition. Div 5 head to Sydney Uni in the 9 AM clash whilst at home, the 19's take on Southern Power at 8:30 AM, followed by the Ramettes having their first home game V UTS at 10:30. At 12:30 PM its Div 3 taking on East Coast while the first grade side play Randwick Saints at 2:30 PM. Selections on next pagemore

OPSM- Looking to the Future

Penrith Rams are very excited to announce that they have been selected as a recipient of the OPSM "Sports Vision for Clubs" programme. The grant, being one of a handful selected from almost 400 clubs Australia wide, includes cash and footballs which will assist the club tremendously this season. OPSM will also conduct free screenings at the ground during the season. Full story next page.more

Washout Rounds - Saturday June 6

At the start of the season, the June weekend was a "footy free" weekend. With washouts earlier in the season, this all changed with now all five teams playing on Saturday. First Grade (V Wests), Third Grade (D5) (V Uni NSW) and Under 19's (V Moorebank) at Greygums, we also have the Ramettes playing Blacktown at BISP and Reserves (Div 3) heading to Bensons to play Nor-West.Selections on next page.more

Five games, five opponents and five different venues make it a tough day for all. First Grade at Camden, Reserves at Henson Park, Thirds at Richmond, Ramettes at Marrickville and 19's at Monarch Oval. Team selections on next page.more

Braydo Serves Aces

Local former Emu Plains Lion and current Penrith Rams player, Brayden Wilson, was the hero with at Adelaide Oval on Anzac Day in front of 30,000 fans, kicking the winning goal with 10 seconds left on the clock. "Braydo" was playing for the ADF in their annual clash against ACES (Australian Combined Emergency Services) Full story next page.more

Round 7 -Saturday May 23 - Updated Friday 7:25 AM

After a 4-1 record last Saturday, the Rams hit the road again on Saturday with five away games. First Grade and the Ramettes set sail to Weldon Oval where they play the Western Sydney Manly Giants, Reserves and Thirds pack their Christian Dior Kitbags, grab a latte and head to Paddington to play the Bats whilst the 19's look set to get dirty this week at Gipps V Goannas. Round 6 Update - 2 Games Cancelled

Penrith Rams are extremely disappointed to advise that Both the Under 19's and Division 5 have been cancelled tomorrow due to Balmain forfeiting both games due to lack of numbers. players and supporters are encouraged to go to Greygums for the 2 PM clash with Blacktown or head to Gosford to watch the Ramettes and Div 3 play. Head back to OD's after the games for a great night.more

Round 6 - 16 May -Updated Friday 9 AM

Five big games this Saturday with the Ramettes and reserves heading to Gosford to take on the Wildcats. Back at home, three important games are on the menu with the 19's playing Balmain at 10, Div 5 playing Balmain at 12 and the match of the round seeing first grade take on Blacktown Magic. Interim team selections being posted as they come available.more

Round 5 - 9/10 May - Team Selections

Four away games on the menu this weekend if all goes to plan weatherwise. First Grade travel to Gore Hill to take on North Shore on Saturday whilst the 19's trek to Mike Kenny for their 3:00 PM match. The Rams would like to apologise to the players and supporters of the Penrith Rams, Auburn Giants and Balmain Tigers for the debacle that took place at BISP #2 on Sunday May 3. Please see clarification statement on next page.more

Round 4 - 2/3 May - Important Message-UPDATED

Despite attempting all day to find venues and agreements with opposition clubs, only two games will be played. On Sunday The Ramettes play their season opener at Blacktown followed by Reserves (D3). Teams listed on next pagemore

Round 3 - 25-26 April - WASHOUT

Due to unprecedented weather conditions during the week, Sydney AFL has made an early call after consultations with the clubs to postpone all matches except Premier Division and Womens Div 1 this week. The wet weather round will be utilised to play these games during the season. More details on next page.more

Round 2 - Saturday April 18

Round 2 sees the rams spread far and wide with first grade off to Pioneers Park to take on 2014 Div 3 premiers, Randwick. Reserves and Thirds play Pennant Hills demons at Mike Kenny reserve whilst the 19's head to Taren Point to play Southern Power. The Ramettes have the bye. Teams now posted on next page.more

Round 1 - Saturday April 11- Greygums Oval

After many months of pre-season training that started in November 2014 and all teams playing trial matches in the last month, the real season finally commences on Saturday for the male teams at Greygums Oval. Third Grade V Camden (8:30 AM) 19's V Wests (10:30AM) Reserves V Wests (12:30 PM) and Firsts V Manly (2:30 PM).Teams for Saturday now posted on next page.more

Still some confusion about this Saturday's trial games. First grade head to Monrach for a 12 PM match against Premier Div Club, Campbelltown. 19's look to be playing Campbelltown at 10 AM (still TBC) and Reserves/Thirds are likely to have a 9 AM intraclub. First Grade squad on next page.more

Trial Matches - Saturday March 21

Week two of trial matches all to be held at Greygums. Senior games V Goulburn Swans (9 AM) and Orange Tigers (11 AM) will be followed by a ladies round robin at 1 PM wit the Ramettes hosting UTS Shamrocks and Auburn Tigers. Mens teams on next page>more

The Rams will play some trial matches in March before the season commencement in April. Some games are still TBA and the list on the next page will be updated as soon as possible.more

Trial Matches - Saturday March 14

Trial Matches for 2015 begin on Saturday with four teams competing. Squad #2 kick off at Gipps Rd where they play Parramatta at 1:00 PM. At 11:00 AM at North Kelso Park, the Ramettes kick off their campaign, followed by the Under 19's at 1 PM and Squad #1 at 3 PM. These three games are all against Moorebank Magpies. Finals time continues this weekend with four of the five Rams teams still alive. On Saturday at Henson Park, Reserves play Randwick for a spot in the big dance along with the Ramettes who face up to the powerful Wollongong Saints. On Sunday at BISP, the 19's take on Macarthur Giants for a spot in the prelim final whilst Thirds have a week off to prepare for the Grand Final. Selections on next pagemore

Final Round + Finals 23-24 August

First Grade play their final match of the year on Saturday at Greygums, but preparations are well underway for a big 2015 season. U19's play the game before their finals assault begin, whilst Reserves and Thirds take on Nor-West Jets at Gipps Rd. On Sunday, the Ramettes head to Henson Park for a spot in the prelim final as they fight to stay alive against UTS. Selections as they come to hand.more
