The second AFL Women’s exhibition match between Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs will take place at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, June 29. The match will be played as a curtain-raiser to the round 15 clash between the Bulldogs and Melbourne. With last year’s match attracting more than 7,000 fans, this year’s game is sure to be another beauty.
AFL Sydney will be represented at the game by 2013 #25 Draft Pick – Courtney Gum (AFL Sydney, UNSW-ES Stingrays) who was retained in 2014 by the Melbourne Demons after her stellar year in 2013. Adrian Pavese (AFL Canberra Women’s Head Coach) who is an Assistant Coach with Melbourne Demons and Krissie Steen (AFL Sydney Women’s Assistant Coach) who is the Game and Opposition Analyst for Western Bulldogs.
