The Tigers inaccuracy nearly cost them the match with the Demons staying in the contest all day until Queanbeyan’s Andrew Swan, Brett Fruend and Cam Milne used their experience to guide the Tigers home in the last quarter.
The Demons were within two points at the three quarter time break after Don Roberts kicked a long goal from 50m out to lift the Demons into a winning position with after the Tigers rued a number of opportunities in the third kicking 1.8 after the main break.
However the Tigers kicked the first goal of the last quarter to and despite the Demons threatening at times to stay in touch the 5.6 to 1.2 quarter sealed the win.
Jake Gumley, Dan Ryall, Don Roberts and Alex Wilson were instrumental down back holding the Tigers at bay when under extreme pressure and also provided plenty of run off half back whilst Ash Moloney made the most of his opportunities up forward kicking three goals.
Harry Bryant and Ciaran O’Rourke worked tirelessly throughout the midfield whilst Michael Koschade and Michael McCormack paired well against former SANFL ruckman Christain Milne.
Coach Dan Ryall was happy with his charges despite the loss after the Demons were belted by the Tigers earlier in the season by 153pts and 142pts respectively as they look to take on Ainslie in the final match of the season next week.

Second Grade
The 2’s were up and about early but failed to capitalize on their opening quarter of a four goal lead to go down by two goals in tight contest against the Tigers.
The Tigers reigned in the margin during the second quarter with a five goal to three quarter and then held the Demons goal less in the third whilst kicking four themselves. Despite a last quarter effort by the Demons it was all too late as the Tigers kicked goals at critical moments to hold off the spirited comeback.
James Hicks worked through the midfield and up forward finishing with best on ground honors and two goals whilst Jack Connoley was at his contested best impacting every stoppage he was at and converted two goals in solid performance.
The Demons face a tough ask in the final round this week as they face the top of the table Demons but will be looking to finish the season on a positive note.

Rising Stars
The Rising Stars trailed all day against a cleaner Tigers outfit eventually going down by 26pts in slippery conditions on an early Sunday morning yesterday.
The Demons wasted plenty of opportunities particularly in the first quarter with a number forward 50 entries resulting in turnovers. It was the story of the day for the Demons who maintained possession for most of the match but fell away across half forward with their turnovers resulting in Queanbeyan scoring at every opportunity on the rebound.
Liam Lupton worked hard all day especially in and around the stoppages along with Riley Budd who worked tirelessly through the ruck all day.
Josh McGovern returned well from almost 2 months away from the game as he worked on the wing but also getting back to assist the defensive unit of Ben Cunningham and James Roberts.
Despite the loss, the Demons maintain second position with a challenging match against Ainslie in the final home and away match of the season this Saturday.
