MULAX 2014 - NEW PLAYERS WELCOME

Melbourne University Lacrosse Club training for the 2014 season has begun, so if you're new to the sport of lacrosse, or if you have played elsewhere, we would love for you come along and see what our club is about. All sessions are fun and inclusive, and suited to people of every experience level.

Training is held on Monday nights from 6:00-8:00pm at the Melbourne University Hockey Field. And afterwards we keep the social side of the club in good health by heading to a nearby pub for dinner and drinks. We'd love to see you there.

In a few weeks time we will be getting a second weekly session underway on Thursday nights, so stay tuned for further details.

ABOUT THE CLUB

Melbourne University Lacrosse Club (MULC) was established in 1883 and is the oldest continually operational lacrosse club in the world. This year we are celebrating the club's 131th Birthday!

Presently we have two men's teams ( divisions 1 and 3 ) and one women's team (B Grade ) entered in Lacrosse Victoria competitions. Junior Development is run through our programs at Melbourne High School, which currently fields 1 U/16 and 1 U/18 team, as well as local Primary and Secondary schools in the Brunswick area.

Melbourne University Lacrosse Club is an extremely social club, with plenty of social events including the annual trivia night and cocktail party. We also take part in an annual Intervarsity competition with Adelaide University. This year the competition will be held in Adelaide to coincide with their 125th Birthday.

Training is on Monday nights at the Melbourne University Hockey field, 6-8pm, and on Thursday nights at Western Oval, on Park street, Parkville from 6:30-8:30pm.

MULC openly welcomes experienced players and new players alike to become part of the club. If you are interested in joining the Melbourne University Lacrosse Club, please email president@mulax.org. You can also stay up to date via Facebook
