The Management Committee has announced Sam Krushka as the 2015 Reserves coach.
Sam Krushka has plenty of experience and played in a number of states and leagues. He began his senior football 15 years ago with the North Hobart Demons.
Since then he’s won two flags playing for the Whitsunday Sea Eagles (Douggie Murrays old team) and a flag in Brisbane with Kedron as well as a year playing out on the Mornington Peninsula. Sam moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2009 and played with the Pomona Demons for two years before being appointed their playing coach in 2011 when he led them to "an epic Grand Final win". Sam was also named AFLSC Senior coach of the year in 2011.
Sam joined Noosa in 2014 and played 15 games in the reserves before injury sidelined him.
In 2014 Sam coached the AFLSC Power Under 14 squad to a dominating Stae Championship win at Caboolture.
When asked what he intended to bring to the Noosa Reserves next year Sam replied, "I have a strong focus on Junior development so I am really keen to assist all the younger players at the club to improve their football and become Senior players for the Tigers in the future. As a team I will be trying to build on the strong culture set by Rob Purves over the past few years, hopefully improving on our 3rd placing from last year!"
