CHANGES TO TIME OUTS - COACHES, TM'S AND SCORERS PLEASE READ

Hi Team Managers and Coaches

At last nights JDC meeting the issue was raised re time outs.

It was agreed that some timeouts during games have gone well past the 60 seconds they should.
This will be discussed with the umpires prior to this weekends games but we are asking the scorers at each game to assist with this as well.

The scorers will now be required to press the buzzer near the end of the timeout. For clarity the timeout starts as soon as the umpire signals time out.
The scorers are to then push the buzzer 45 seconds into the timeout. This is to notify the coaches and umpires that its time for the players to start heading back out onto court.

Can you please notify your scorers of this as it will begin this weekend.
I would suggest they speak to the other scorer on the day to ensure they are all aware of it.
