Dandenong Southern Stingrays, affiliated with the AFL Victoria TAC Cup, requires the services of volunteer sports trainers for the upcoming to enhance the level of care and support for our players for the 2015 TAC Cup season.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to implement a total player management program and also lead, manage and develop our dedicated group of current staff through positive leadership, good communication and strong organizational skills.
The position would be an ideal opportunity for a young Sports Medicine Professional to gain hands on experience in their field, or alternatively an experienced Trainer looking to take the next step in their own development towards AFL or VFL.
It is preferred applicants currently possess a current Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation, or are willing to obtain it throughout the season (Course date is Saturday 7th February 2015 at Visy Park, Carlton) and a Working with Children Check or willing to obtain if successful in position.
If you are seeking to sharpen your skills in a fresh and fun environment, looking for more professional experience or just starting out and wanting hands on practice with some friendly guidance
The role will entail:
* Off season up to 3 nights per week (Minimum 1 night per week) plus Intra match day.
* In season up to 2 nights per week (Minimum 1 night per week) plus match day.
Remuneration is available. Immediate start (17th January 2015)
