Young Cooper Wortley stared in Saturday afternoon’s game against Laurimar Thunder with a breakthough first goal effort. The shot came following a high speed intercept, a quick pass and then a couple of bounces before sublimely sending the ball into the basket.
The jubilation and exhalation following the score was felt through the whole stadium as cheers and high fives went up in crowd unison.
Young Coops has been thoroughly enjoying his tenure with the Apollo Rockets and loves working with the great team of boys there. With all the dramatic improvement since the team came together Mark may have trouble keeping all this talent together.
