Works are near completion for the ‘Supa Box’, one of Panton Hill's great focal points for the 2015 season.
The new function room has been created and funded by the Club and its members, with the renovation carried out by one of the Club's long term sponsors, Marty Clarke and his business Ausbuild Constructions Pty Ltd. The concept was to build a function room that maintains a piece of our Clubs heritage. The room itself has for many years acted as our Timekeeper's box and scoreboard. However it became redundant last year after the construction of our new Coach's Box, incorporating the new Electronic Scoreboard. Rather than demolish a longstanding traditional structure, the idea was agreed upon to turn the old scoreboard into the Club's newest innovation.
The main function of the Supa Box is to provide a modern and comfortable facility from which supporters can enjoy an elevated view of the football ground, while enjoying what has become our famous catering services. Bookings can be made for minimum 10 people for home games played at the ground during the season. Food and drinks are included in the overall price of $1000.
The concept has already been greatly received by the community as all but three games of the coming season have already been booked.
However one of those games has been set aside for the Round 12 local derby against Hurstbridge on July 4. We are holding a raffle with the prize being the Supa Box facility for 10 people, enjoying our catering services for the Main game. Tickets are limited to 100 and are to be drawn very soon at our Season launch on March 28.
To book any of the remaining three games, or to purchase raffle tickets for the Hurstbridge game, please contact Andrew Mill on 0415 265 259 or andrew@bcaaa.com.au.
