7th Grade Otters World Beaters

I am not sure how the best team will be measured for Fun Footie 7th Grade but I would surely like to stake a claim for the Otters to be that team.

Here’s a run-down on the great season the 2014 Nomads’ Otters had.

We played 11 games in total and had 2 sessions, one which was held at AMI and one at ASB Stadiums. Thanks Nomads.more

It is becoming common place that a player from one of the junior team will give the speech,supported by their coach. It provides a different perspective to games or season.more

Saturday was the First derby game for Nomads United senior in many years. Naturally, both teams wanted the win. Thanks to Andrew it was rightfully played at Tulett Park. There had been good humour banter between the teams into the weeks leading up to the game.more

PresIdent B to Good for the Rest

The venue was Nomads Clubrooms where President B won the inaugural Nomads United Beer Pong Championship for 2014.

From the onset there were some lively games in the preliminary rounds. Only the second team did not take any points from the round, as they knew the Nomads United’s anti corruption unit was focus on them.more

The chill factor has hit Christchurch today. However, the Nomads United Sea Eagles don't care!!!

English Cup- Report

English Cup Report:

On Tuesday 13th may we played Christchurch United at ASB park in the English cup.

We came away with a hard earned 2-1 victory.

We started well with some good football and winning it back quickly when we didn't have it.We went in at half time 0-0 unlucky not to be in front with 2 goals disallowed from Burnsy and Ando.more

Women's Team Keep on Marching On

1st loss for the women.... Luckily it was only the 2nd half!

Nomads Ladies took to the pitch for the 4th time this season looking to extend one of 4 100% records in the league.

This was a match like no other though as a grudge match against Coastal Spirit is always likely to cause a stir a fight following the deferral of most the team from Coastal to Nomads 3 seasons ago......more

Men's First Team Report

Last Saturday, we played Ferrymead at ASB park.

We went down 2 nil in what can only be described as a disappointing performance. Ferrymead dominated from start to finish and we can't afford to perform like this.

With some new signings coming in everybody will have to work hard to keep thier place in the team.

We play Selwyn at 2pm on Saturday.more

James's First Team Captain- Match Report

On Saturday 26th April we played Nelson Suburbs at ASB Park. Both teams were coming off a successful Easter weekend. We knew that Nelson had a new Irish striker that was on form.

There were no complaints about conditions for football and we started well keeping the ball close and was able to create a few half chances.more

First Registration Day for 2014

Yesterday, Nomads United had their first registration day. Even though most people wanted to be at the beach or near water to get some relief from the heat. There was an awesome turn out from the juniors and parents for our first registration day!

Shining Light in Wretched Weather- 13/07/13

The weekend wasn’t suited to football. However, we can confirm the "President B” have won their section. Nomads United would like to congratulate them for their performances this year. They came out of the blocks with a winning streak of 7 matches. Then had a few hiccups but like a champion team have finished with a flourish.
