Women's Team Continue their winning ways

Crowd faint in shock!?!

2 games gone, 6 points on the board, 10 goals for, 0 against.... Surely this can't be the Nomads Ladies team we're talking about....

Two seasons ago the team won once all season, scoring just 6 goals, 2014 has seen the team better this already!

AMI Stadium Festival of Football 12th April 2014

The weather didn’t play ball for the Festival of Football at AMI Stadium on Saturday between Nomads United and Halswell United. This did not stop over 300 children’s enthusiasm to play on ground where the Crusaders and All Blacks play.

First Week of Football for 2014

First weekend of junior football for all Nomads United teams.

At Tulett park there were a few tears from players about to have their first game of football. Even so, the tears slowly disappeared and they took their first tentative steps away from their parents and joined their teammates.more

Back in the day, the actual year was 2006, All Black Dan Carter donned the blue shirt and red shorts, and played for Nomads United with his mates. He used his gifted left foot to pass a round ball instead of booting the oval variety into touch or over the sticks.

Hero Of The Day

Nomads United AFC would like to thank New York Deli, Northlands Mall for their generosity in sponsoring the "Hero Of The Day" for all Nomads United Teams from the 10 year olds grade up to 14 year olds grade.

The "Hero Of The Day" will be given to a Nomads United player who was an inspiration in contributing to their success of their teams game each Saturday.more

First Kicks and Fun Football

Nomads United First Kicks and Fun Football has steadily grown in the last several years. This year is no exception with many boys and girls registered in these grades. We are looking for parents to coach a team, so that every child can discover the fun of playing football.

First Registration Day for 2014

Yesterday, Nomads United had their first registration day. Even though most people wanted to be at the beach or near water to get some relief from the heat. There was an awesome turn out from the juniors and parents for our first registration day!

Nomads United AFC are excited to announce that two well known Christchurch football identities as the new coaching "team" for Nomads United AFC's first team. Deane Hutchinson has accepted head coaching role position for 2014 season, a natural progression from his 2013 position , where he was a technical advisor.

Under 19 Coastal Spirit Tournament 2013

Not The Result We Wanted- Under 19's (Update)

Nomads United under 19's took on Mosgiel in the finals. The team knew that the game was always going to be tough , Mosgiel enjoys living on the ball and capitalized with a well taken goal in the first half . Nomads rallied and created clear chances but were not able to put in back on the net. An unlucky turn of events allowed Mosgiel to scored a second goal in the second half. Well done Lads!!!more

We are in the Finals- Labour Day Monday

Nomads ranked 15th out 16 team in the Under 19 Tournament at Coastal Spirit have defied the odds with an excellent brand of football. Nomads are in the finals at 2pm at Cuthberts Green. A team that is made from a number of teams has overcome a short time to prepare for the tournament with only four practices. So far Nomads have kept a clean sheet and scored 13. Shining Light in Wretched Weather- 13/07/13

The weekend wasn’t suited to football. However, we can confirm the "President B” have won their section. Nomads United would like to congratulate them for their performances this year. They came out of the blocks with a winning streak of 7 matches. Then had a few hiccups but like a champion team have finished with a flourish.
