2014 West Brisbane Falcons Summer Season Information

2014 FALCONS DTP (Development, Training, Play) SEASON
If you are interested in playing with West Brisbane Falcons in the last season (Term 4) for 2014, please complete this Player Nomination form to secure a spot.
West Brisbane Falcons will run our own in-house competitions in all junior age groups. Age Groups will alter slightly for the Falcons DTP Season. This will mean we will conduct 90 minute age group sessions on a selected night that will involve a 45 minute training sessions followed by organised matches on the two courts available at Centenary High School.
Teams will be selected and compete on a weekly basis with suitable qualified referees controlling the games. Coaches will be on the court coaching the players during the games to help the players to learn and improve their skills. No scores, just lots of fun playing our Falcons friends.
Each age group session and games will be overseen by a Head Coach. The Head Coach will run the training sessions and sort out the teams each week to ensure that competition is as even as possible. This allows the players to put into action what they have learnt at training straight into the games.
Current registered Falcons players wishing to play will pay a one off cost of $30 per registered Falcons member, to cover the cost of referees and additional court hire fees.
New players to the Club will be required to pay this amount ($30/player) plus register with BBI for the short season at a reduced cost, which will be finalised by BBI later in late September.
All registrations & payments will be made via online registration. An email will be sent to you in late September with a link to the ONLINE REGISTRATION. PLEASE DO NOT PAY ANY FEES UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THIS EMAIL.
Each Gender Age Group will be capped at 32 players so that every player gets the most out of their Falcons experience so make sure you get in early.

Due to the unavailability of the Centenary Sports Stadium on some dates, this is why you will see there is a break mid-season in our schedule.
We feel this will be a great opportunity to gain more value out of this short season and deliver to all members an enjoyable and fun filled experience playing basketball.
