The 2015 WABL season is just around the corner.
This information covers all age groups, each player trying out will need a complete a registration form to bring with them on the day, Session times Released ** See below**.

The Western Australian Basketball League is WA's elite junior Basketball competition catering for players in the following age groups: U12, U14, U16, U18, U20 (Men) and Development League (Open age).

Games are played on Sundays over a 16-week home and away season plus four weeks of finals.

The season commences on the last weekend of April and finishes third week of September.

WABL is currently comprised of 12 Basketball Associations split into two conferences, one North of the river, the other South. East Perth are part of the northern conference, comprising Perry Lakes, Kalamunda, Perth, Stirling, and Joondalup.  Teams in the northern conference play each northern team twice per season, and each southern team once per season. Southern Conference teams are: Lakeside, Willetton, Cockburn, Rockingham, Mandurah and Bunbury.

The Western Australian Basketball League endeavors to provide opportunities that enable every player, coach, official and supporter to reach their full potential in Western Australia’s elite junior Basketball competition both as an athlete and as a person.

East Perth Eagles nominate teams in all age groups - for 2015 there will be 3 teams for our Under 12 boys and U12 Girls; 3 teams for both our U14 Boys and U14 Girls, 2 teams for our U16 boys and U16 girls teams, 2 teams for U18 boys and U18 girls teams.  We also have an U20 men’s team along with our Men’s D-League and Women’s D-League teams.

To be considered to play in a WABL team, players are invited to tryout for a position in a team. We open up tryouts for all of our Junior Competition players who wish to progress to the next step in their basketball career.

Tryouts will be over the month of February, any player wishing to be considered will need to attend all sessions.

Registration is compulsory using the attached form along with payment.  The form can be submitted via email to admin@eastperth.basketball.net.au prior to the first session or handed in on the first day.  No player will be able to take to the court without registration and payment being completed.

Any player trying out from another Club will need to have completed and have approved the intention to approach or Clearance form prior to taking the court.
