Hi All,

I want to thank everyone for their attendance at the East Perth District Basketball Association’s Annual General Meeting held Monday 30th November 2015.

It was great to see so many people with an interest in the Association attend.
Many of you have already been assisting the Association by way of Coaching, Managing, Administrating for your own local clubs, Refereeing, Scoring etc and for this we are truly grateful for the many hours that you have provided.

Thank you to all the 2014/15 board members for another outstanding effort on driving the club forward.

The 2015/16 board has been extended by a further 2 people and I welcome on to the Board of Directors, Janette Edwards and Carl Filpo.

Thank you also to Peter Campbell who raised an issue at the meeting and agreed to assist the Association in the recruitment of volunteers for a variety of positions that currently lay vacant.
Moving forward I want to ensure you all, that we are an open, transparent and cohesive board with all board members contributing to their portfolios, and as a group we make decisions in the best interests of the club as a whole.

As Managing Director I’m not interested in self promoted agendas that have the ability to disrupt the Association as a whole, and I welcome any and all communications directed to the entire board should the need arise.

I wish all of you and your families a safe & happy holiday and then get back to basketball in the new year.
