The Ingle Farm Women's Football Club welcome a new coaching line up and staff to season 2014.
Head Coach: Wayne Antrobus
Wayne has been an avid supporter of the IFWFC for the past couple of years and with his passion and love of the game shining through on the sidelines it only seems fitting that he takes on the role of Head Coach in 2014... ok, the constant nagging from a few people might have also been a factor! Wayne’s background in football is extensive and the girls cannot wait for the first bounce when the “real Wayne” will come out! We wish Wayne all the very best for his debut season.
Assistant Coach: Karen Jakeway
Part of the Ingle Farm family for years, Karen Jakeway returns to the role of assistant coach. Karen has done a tremendous job with her organisation behind the scenes and is always eager to help where she can. Kazza's passion and love for the club is refreshing and we are all so very happy to have her back!
Assistant Coach: Greg Spence
Assistant coach in IFWFC’s debut season, Greg returns to the coaching line up after having a year off in 2013. There is no doubt that in 2012 a lot of the girls’ improvement in skill level was due to Greg’s input. Greg plays a vital part of the IFWFC’s trainings, always pulling girls aside to offer his advice, and we are all excited to see what he will bring come game day!
Team Manager: Deb Walker (aka "Ma")
A Mum to all at the club (hence her nickname!) Deb returns for her third year in a row as Team Manager. The behind the scenes work doesn't go unnoticed and we thank Deb for ALL her efforts over the last couple of years and are very pleased to see her return - our fundraising and social events certainly wouldn’t be the same without her!
Trainer: Michael Coburn
Michael has joined the Green and White family from the Port Adelaide Women’s Football Club for season 2014 when unfortunate events saw Port go into recess. Michael’s background as trainer, coach and mad footy supporter is going to be a huge asset to the team and he has been welcomed to the IFWFC with open arms.
Bowen Therapist: Tiff Pearce
An injury saw our beloved Bowen Therapist have to take some time off in the off-season but we are all still wishing and hoping that she will make her return to the IFWFC sooner rather than later. Whether in the capacity as Bowen Therapist or just as a huge supporter and friend we are hoping Tiff shows her face around the club come the start of the season! Tiff was instrumental in getting our players get back out on the field quicker and we cannot thank her enough for all of her work in 2013.
