The FTG Bowling Club has started a loyalty program. Whenever anyone orders a drink or meal and they mention UFTG Football Club we will receive reward points. These points are converted to cash every 6 months and deposited into our bank account.
We need to ask everyone for their friends and family to mention UFTG Football Club if they go there.
When you choose to be a Bendigo bank customer, you not only make a decision that benefits you, you also make one that will help the Upper Gully Football Club. The Ferntree Gully Community Bank Branch is rewarding Upper Ferntree Gully Football Club by contributing funds for each new loan, credit card, personal account or everyday account opened by club members.
Coaching for Season 2014
The Upper Ferntree Gully Football Club appointed Andy Hayman as senior coach at the end of 2010 to coach the club as it headed into 2nd Division. In appointing Andy for his 3rd season in 2013 as coach, he and the Club commenced planning for a change in coaches for season 2014.
Andy’s credentials have provided the Club an opportunity to further develop its young playing group and assistant coaches in 2013, in addition to the knowledge, professionalism, skill and coaching expertise he has shown throughout his time with the Club. The Club would like to thank Andy and his family for their enormous support to date and look forward to this continuing throughout the remainder of the 2013 season and into the future as the Hayman family remains a part of the Club.
The Club will now seek to appoint coaches and assistant coaches for the senior, reserve and under 19 teams for season 2014.
For enquiries, please contact Andrew Derksen, President, on 0419 876 686
Terry Hopkins Junior Development Foundation 2013
In 2005 the club lost dear friend and devotee Terry Hopkins following a long battle with cancer. In recognition of his courage and passion for our club, which was an inspiration to all, the former “Royals Club” was renamed.
The charter of the THF is simple; it is devoted to raising funds to help ensure the future of the club through the support and development of our young players. Membership costs $110.00. All proceeds from membership and other THF fundraising initiatives are used to benefit our younger players. Over the last 12 years the THF has sponsored the club’s under 19 “Rising Star” award, provided warm-up jackets for the club’s under19s, funded information/education evenings for the club’s juniors, provided Sherrin footballs for awards to under 17 players and provided funding and support for the development of our junior players through coach education provided by “The Modern Game”. In the past 12 months alone the THF has continued to contribute funds to retain the services of “The Modern Game”, provided funding for the under 19/under 17 Boot Camp, provided two sets of warm-up jackets for the under 17’s and run an information night and BBQ for junior players and parents. If anyone is interested in further info on the THF please contact Robyn Lawson on 0412 405 116 or Dave Beilken on 0408 336 642.
