Great result at EFL Presentation Night on Monday with Tim Riseley winning the Division 3 Edie Medal for the League B&F. Tim beomes our first senior league B&F winner since Dave Leathem in 1986 and joins Dave, Neville Roberts (1975) and Peter Jensen (1971) as Upper Gully’s only Senior League B&F winners. Also well done to Luke Leslie who finished 3rd in the U19’s alongside Jake Cawsey who finished 4th in the U19’s and Leigh Lawson who finished 4th in the reserves; full votes for Upper Gully players including the Netball side below. Congratulations to Tim Riseley and Matt Petracca who were both named in the EFL Division Three Team of the Year. Thanks to all the King Club members for 2015 and especially Neil Thompson for running the King Club this year. The year saw a new initiative in the King Club Flyer Trophy where members cast votes (3, 2, and 1) on the player they think had the greatest impact in the first half of the game and had gotten the team off to a flying start. Well done to Jarrod Whiteman who took out the award this season. The King Club is a support group for the Upper Ferntree Gully Football Club and will return again in 2016.
