Senior registrations now open!

WMFC is now accepting player registrations for pre-season competitions and the outdoor season in 2014.

We are giving away free tickets for the first 50 registrations to the Canberra United v Newcastle Jets W-League match on 11 February, so make sure you register quickly! Winners will be notified on Thursday 30 January and can collect their tickets from the box office at McKellar Park.

Players and coaches should consult the information page here for all the details. In particular, please note that the Senior Committee has decided not to accept payment of registration fees in installments this year due to the difficulty in collecting unpaid fees last year. Players will be required to pay the full amount up front, so please start saving now if you need to! We have ensured that players have at least two months from today before the payment deadlines for playing in Round 1, so there should be plenty of time.

We are also happy to announce that we have listened to player feedback on registration fees last year, and made two amendments to our budgeting:

  • No fees from any State League players will subsidise first team players this year; and
  • We have ensured that after growth in previous years, registration fees do not increase further in 2014.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Club in 2014 and please pass the news on to your friends!

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
