Marino Tribuzio Appointed as U18's Coach

The club is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Marino Tribuzio as our U18 Boys coach for season 2012.

Marino made his senior debut at age 16 with Moreland City before moving to Essendon City Royals, where his family has an extensive history. His Father coached at Essendon for many years and Marino played in the senior team alongside four of his cousins.

At age 21 Marino suffered a serious knee injury that required a full re-construction and kept him out of the game for 2 years. Marino ended his playing career at the age of 33, playing for Melton City and also acting as assistant coach.

In his coaching career Marino has previously spent 10 years with Bulleen Lions, followed by a move to Richmond SC where he coached in the U13 & U14 Super League. In 2011 Marino coached the U16 Boys at Nothcote City.

Marino holds a junior and senior coaching licence and has a real passion for helping players develop their potential and progress into senior football. His philosophy has always been to play an attractive, passing style of football, which is in line with Box Hill United's coaching direction.

The club welcomes Marino and we look forward to another successful season for our talented U18 players under his careful guidance.
