Its an unfamiliar feeling at Adelaide St this week with the Bombers suffering their First defeat of the year at the hand of Newcastle City. With the Bombers out to get back to winners circle, they face stiff competition from the unbeaten Terrigal Avoca.
The Bombers return home for the battle of supremacy, with the two top Central Coast teams battling it out. Defending premiers Terrigal Avoca have had the wood on the Bombers in recent seasons, but the youthful Bombers outfit wont bear any scars form years gone by. Coach John Pidgeon will have plenty to think about after his first loss with the Bombers, and theres no doubt he will turn to the ever reliable Michael Besley to turn it on and make the difference in this tough encounter. The Bombers look to be without rising star contender and tiny dancer Alex Bailey, but remain hopeful key players Hugh Wells, Jordan Evans and Peter Collins will be available for match after injury layoffs.
First Division action will also see the Bombers taking on Terrigal Avoca, with the Bombers looking to notch up their maiden win of the year. Terrigal Avoca are amongst the pace setters in First Division, so the Bombers will need to be at their best and get all gangster if they are to get the better of their more fancied opponents.
