The Bombers returned to the winners cirlce last week with a victory over the Bulldogs on the road. They return home this week to face Lake Maqauire.
The last time these to sides met, the Bombers took the 4 points but it wasnt without a scare from the Dockers who finished the stronger side. After the Bombers last up start, they have plenty to work on if they are to set themselves a serious contenders this year. Micheal Besley will be turned to again to give the Bombers some much needed second half spark to ensure they hand glide to the final siren. Brendan Lewis will be looking like the bionic man on the boundary, but apart from that the Bombers should be close to being back to full strength for this game, with the return of most key players from their respective injuries.
First Division action will also see the Bombers taking on Maitland for this first time this year, and will be out for payback after the Saints ended the Bombers finals efforts last year. The Bombers are still looking for their maiden win of the year, but with Sam Shergold looking dangerous up front the Bombers will be keen to direct forward action his way.
