Round 12 will see the Bombers take on Cardiff for the first time this season at the unfamiliar surrounds of Number 1 sportsground. The last time these two sides met was in last years finals series and the Hawks ended the Bombers hopes of premiership glory.
The youthful Bombers outfit have shown no scars of past defeats this season, and it will be no different when they face the Hawks. The Bombers will be looking to flex their muscle to prove themselves as finals contenders, but may have to do so without the talismanic Micheal Besley who will be racing the clock to be fit for the match. Besley has been crucial to the Bombers success this year and will surely feature in league Best and Fairest calculations. The Bombers will also be boosted by the return of Skipper Brendon Lewis last week and power forward Daniel Lloyd is also expected to return for the match.
First Division action will also see the Bombers taking on Cardiff, looking for their first win of the year. The Bombers showed massive signs of improvements in recent weeks, this bottom of the table clash will surely be an entertaining curtain raiser to the main game with the Bombers hungry for victory.
