New Stadium - New Era of Sports in Wyndham
Today Wednesday 27th May 2015, makes the begining of the new era of sports in the city of Wyndham with Stage 1 of the new multi-purpose sporting facility opening up to the community.
Works on stage 2 will commence then and overall project completion is due mid-2016. Upon completion Eagle Stadium will be transformed into the largest indoor court facility in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
When fully completed in mid 2016, the $47 million redevelopment will include:
- Expansion from 6 to 12 indoor courts
- Show court with seating for up to 1,500 spectators
- A state of the art health club
- Expansion of creche and adminsitration areas
- Four new outdoor netball courts
- Cafe and improved function rooms
