OUR CLUB
Saints Eagles Souths Football Club Inc (aka Saints or SESFC) caters for boys and girls aged 5-18, men and women 18-50+.
There are 30+ mixed boys and girls teams in the junior competition from U5-U16.
We have girls only teams in the junior competition also.
In the Youth (U18) competition in 2017 we fielded a male only Colts team and 2 female only Fillies teams.
In 2018 our Senior competition will consist of 5 teams:
Mens Premier League
Mens Reserve Grade
Womens Premier League
Womens Reserve Grade
Mens 2nd Division
Training for most U5-U14 teams is at our clubhouse grounds on the corner of Marron Cres and Balls Lane Mundingburra (opposite Coles Rising Sun and Hungry Jacks). Training is Tues-Thurs 5-6pm.
In 2018 we will be offering additional Junior Skills Training sessions from 5-6pm on Mondays for U8+ beginning in February. These free sessions will be optional.
Training for U14 and older teams is at our home ground of Aitkenvale Park, Petunia Street adjacent to the Library. Training is generally Tues-Thurs anywhere between 5-8pm.
Games for U5-U16 teams are played every Saturday at Brolga Park, Murray Sporting Comlex from 8am to 4pm. Where there are Ingham and/or Burdekin teams in the U12-U16 competition, games throughout the year will be held in those locations on a rotational basis.
Colts/Fillies games are Friday nights at various venues around Townsville, Ingham and Ayr.
Seniors teams play Saturday, Saturday night or Sunday at various venues around Townsville, Ingham, Charters Towers and Ayr.
