Club History

The Endeavour Hills Sports and Social Club inc found its origin around the year 1972 from an idea coming from Yves Hennequin (ex Racing Club De Mauice). His objective to pass on his knowledge and experience of soccer to his young nephews and their schoolmates.

The club was originally known as the Sparrows Soccer Club. Informal training sessions were then held at a ground adjacent to the Dandenong High School. Friendly games were played every now and then. Dances and fund raising activities were organised, mostly at the Scouts Hall situated in Hammond Road Dandenong, in order to be able to buy jerseys, shorts, and soccer equipment and to pay these referees.

Upon joining the Victorian Soccer Federation, the club changed its name to the Noble Park Soccer Club. A better ground was sought and obtained from the council and since then, the clubhouse and ground have stayed at the Power Reserve, Power road Doveton.

In 1980 members organised the name change to be now known as Endeavour Hills Soccer Club.
