ROUND 1

In Round 1 of the 2014 competition Camden hosted Narellan at Kirkham Oval for our Sponsors Day. Despite the rainin the week leading up to the weekend we had a beautiful day and most importantly lots of players and families happy to see the kids playing again. Thanks to all of our Volunteers on the day and especially the sponsors that make our club an enjoyable club to be part of.more

WEST TIGERS V PENRITH PANTHERS

What a fantastic night we had a Kirkham Oval when we were fortunate to see some of our NRL stars in action. With a Ground Record crowd of 5048 volunteers from the Juniors, Seniors and Old Boys were kept busy. Both club enjoyed the atmosphere so lets hope they come back in the near future to show case Rugby League in the area. Check out our facebook for some photos.more

PRESENTATION NIGHT

The CJRLFC Presentation night was held on Thursday 10 October at Camden High School. The club would again like to congratulate each one of our players in 2013. SPORTSMAN LUNCH

Camden Rams Old Boys held a Sports Luncheon on 20 September 2013 at Camden Valley Inn. Jimmy Smith will be hosted the event with Gorden Tallis, Darren Britt and John Skandalis as Special Guests. 10A GRAND FINAL

The Camden 10A team played their Grand Final against Thirlmere. This was another fantastic game with Camden suffering an injury early in the first half and another early in the second half. Camden were leading with only minutes to go however Thirlmere scored to send the match into Golden Point. Thirlmere scored in the second period of Golden point to win the match. Congratulations to everyone.more

14A RUNNER UP

The Camden 14A team played their grandfinal against Narellen. The was a fantastic game of football between the two teams with the game coming down to the wire. Narellan won the match 20-16 but that Camden boys put in a strong performance right up to the final siren. Congratulations to the players and officials on a great year.more

13B RUNNERS UP

Camden 13B competed in their Grand Final against Mt Annan. This was a very tight match with a draw at the end of normal time after Mt Annan scored a last minute try. The score remained a draw after the first period of Golden Point and into the next period of time Mt Annan kicked a penalty goal to win the match. Congratulations to Camden they made us all very proud and should be proud of themselvesmore

Vale HARVEY SHEPHARD

On Monday 19 August 2013 Harvey Shephard passed away. Harvey was a Life Member has been an integral part of the Camden Junior club and his ongoing work with the club helped build it into a succesful and family orientated club. Harvey will be fondly remembered and to his wife Hilda and family our best wishes are with you all at this time.more

10A MINOR PREMIERS

OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW LIGHTS

On Saturday 3rd August the Camden Junior and Senior clubs with Camden Rams Old Boys joined together for a day and night of rugby league. The Junior teams played during the day followed on by the U18, Reserve Grade and 1st Grade teams with an official opening of the lights. The crowd was entertained during the night by our U7 and U9 teams demonstrating mini football under lights.more

OPEN UP DINNER' CAMDEN RAMS OLD BOYS INC.

On 29 June 2013 Camden Rams Old Boys Inc. together with CJRLFC and CRFLC held a Fundraising and Awareness dinner in memory of Rodney Crick. The event was a sell out and by all accounts a good night was had by all. Congratulations to the Old Boys and all who attended.more

NRL HOLIDAY CLINIC - 22 APRIL 13 AT CAMDEN

What a great day with over 220 kids attending the NRL clinic held at Kirkham. The day was run by NRL Development Officers and some players from Wests Tigers NYC team including former Rams Jake Dooner. A big Thank You to Scott Borg, Jake Brightwell and all the team for giving all the kids a great day. 2013 PLAYING STRIP

We are please to announce that the Club will be playing in a new playing strip in 2013 which our Senior Club will also be using. This will assist in establishing the Camden Club with a good clean identity through all ages. CAMDEN RAMS OLD BOYS INC. DONATION

The Camden Rams Old Boys Inc. have donated a new ride-on mower and blower for the use of the Junior and Senior Clubs to maintain the fields. The Old Boys have also committed to a significant donation towards the upgrade of the Kirkham Oval lighting if the Club is successful with is grant applications. Camden Council have agreed to provide $30,000 for this purpose. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL INVOLVED.more

On Saturday 3 November 2012 Camden Junior Rugby League Football Club were offically presented the Group 6 Club Champions Shield. Congratulations to all players, coaches, officials and supportors for your effort, support and good sportsmanship in 2012. The Presentation Evening was held on Thursday 11 October 12 at Camden High School with the weather holding out to let the kids be entertained by Games 2 U. Congratulations to Camden 16A players, coach and officials on becoming the 2012 Undefeated Premiers of the 16A Group 6 competition. The boys completed a great season with a strong win. 2012 GROUP 6 RUNNERS UP 10A

Congratulations to the Camden 10A team who put in a fantastic performance on against premiership favourites Narellan. Camden were defeated 24 points to 6 but all the boys should be very proud of their efforts.more

2012 GROUP 6 RUNNERS UP 10C

Congratulations to the 10C players on a hard fought match in the Grand Final. Camden were defeated by Robertson 28 points to 22. This is a great achievement in your first year of competitives Rugby League.more

SPORTS STRAPPING

Players who wish to be strapped before games will now need provide their own strapping tape. The clubs Sports Trainers can apply the strapping however the Club will no longer provide the strapping tape.

Rigid Tape will be available for purchase at the Canteen for a cost of $10 per roll. Stretchable Tape will also be sold for $10

Tape will be provide for injuries during a game where deemed suitable by staff.
