Official Match Report

Play was suspended in the 13th minute when the Ballarat SC player #20 was knocked unconscious. An ambulance was called as the player remained unconscious on the ground for a number of minutes. The player did regain consciousness but was not able to be moved until the ambulance arrived. After 15 minutes delay (game time 28 minutes) I abandoned the game as it was not feasible to restart the game and complete it before the next scheduled game. The incident was the result of a challenge by Wyndham FC player #20 who received a red card. A misconduct report is also attached. I have stated the match was a washout after consultation with Michael McPhee from the the Ballarat Referee branch as match abandoned isn't an option.
